Diamond Upgrade Program

At SkyGem & Co., we offer a free lifetime diamond upgrade. Any GIA-certified natural diamond purchased from us can be exchanged for up to 90% of the original diamond purchase price (Excluding GST) for a new diamond that is at least double the value of the first one. In order to be eligible, the diamond being upgraded must be

1. “Round Cut”

2. Between the carat weights of 1.00 ct and 1.50 ct,

3. colours grades D, E, F, and G,

4. Clarity VSS, VS, or Eye-Cleaned SI

5. None or Faint Fluorescent

accompanied by original documentation and must be in saleable condition. Diamond prices fluctuate with currency and market demands, so we can only offer what is genuine to us. Upgrades are not available for coloured gemstones, settings, whole jewellery, or lab-grown diamonds. Upgrade credit does not include duty or tax paid on the original purchase. All applicable duties and taxes will be charged on the full retail price of the new diamond before any credit is applied. If the upgraded diamond cannot be set in your original engagement ring setting, you can exchange it for a precious metal credit as determined by us. SkyGem & Co. Temporary Setting Option

If you are confident about your choice of diamond but would prefer that your partner participate in choosing the mounting, we offer a temporary mounting option. We will set your diamond in our classic 18K White Gold 2mm Comfort Fit solitaire engagement ring. A $1200 security bond will be withheld for the setting.

Within 30 days of your initial purchase, you and your fiance may return the temporary mounting and choose from our extensive stocklist or customise your own mountings. A $200 refurbishing fee will be deducted from the security bond of the 18K White Gold 2mm Comfort Fit engagement ring for your use of the temporary mounting.
